- Design your personal hero! Designbattle initiated by the Dutch Design Association (BNO). With this illustration I won the third price. Max Bruinsma (editor Items Magazine) and Bert Hagendoorn (Adobe / Adobe User Group) were part of the jury.I combined two of my favorite heroes. Influenced by the breaking news that Disney bought Marvel Entertainment.

- Illustration concept / sketch. Pitch advertising campaign Fruit For Thought company. Unfortunately not used.

- My Personal comment on the massive oil spills in the Niger Delta caused by Shell. They now (Aug.'11) accepted responsibility for the massive spill.

- Classic Jumbo games homage. Poster I made for the Game Heroes Exhibition, part of art event Game-City 2011.'80's arcade games took his sociability. Now it's time to set things straight. He's no dumbo he's…RUMBO the pixel killer. Our hero is back. Facing the enemy with his highly fashionable goosee sunglasses and nasty weapons.'

- I participate in the GreyTones 'MyCity' project as part of the Graphic Design Festival 2010 Breda (the Netherlands). Studio FoURPAck asked me to make an illustration inspired by one of 'the seven deadly sins', a painting of Jheronimus Bosch ('s-Hertogenbosch famous resident). One of the oldest mythological symbols in the world is Ouroboros: a dragon who eats his own tail. The dragon is also a symbol of 's-Hertogenbosch, a typical Burgundian city with too many restaurants and food related events. My new city arms 'GULA' (latin:gluttony) both symbolizes and criticizes the city's wealth and abundance.
